Praising God

Praise God in all His glory
It is the best thing you can do
Read the Bible for it is His story
See what it will do for you.

My eyes had closed for so long
I felt that God had turned away
It wasn't God who had done wrong
I had but to open my eyes to find the way.

Now I am back in God's good graces
I try to travel the right path
I try to sing out his praises
Seek out His love, not his wrath.

I wandered aimlessly when I was lost
I know that I did sin
But when Jesus died on the cross
All my sins were forgiven.

Now I sing my praises out loud
I want the whole world to hear
My lifes is now without a cloud
I am able to live it without fear.
